Chris Colligan was a MSC coach who was killed in 2006 while helping a stranded motorist. The Colligan Family has established a scholarship in Chris’ name to help players who have a love for soccer as Chris did.
A portion of the proceeds from the tournament will go to the Chris Colligan Scholarship Program which is awarded annually.

The Chris Colligan Challenge Cup 4v4 Soccer Tournament is in its sixth year and is always a great family event. In addition to the tournament itself, there is a concession stand, bounce house for the younger kids, and a dunk tank that always has someone in it that deserves to get dunked. This year there might even be one of the high school coaches there for a little while so don't miss it. There is also free parking and plenty of open space for tents and tailgating though out the day. If you need to get away for a short time Rayner Park is just around the corner and has a large play ground for the younger kids as well.
