U11B Mason Strykers
This past Tuesday at the Mason High School boys varsity match the U11B Mason Strykers with coach Rich Madery had the opportunity to shadow the high school varsity players. The boys got to go through pre game warmups, got to go out on the field with the players during player introductions, and were involved in the pre-game huddle at midfield. They got to watch the game from the players side and were invited into the locker room during the half time and post game. The team had a wonderful time and got to see what they will see when they get to high school soccer. The MSC would like thank Mason High School coach Nick Binder and all the players on the varsity team for providing such a wonderful opportunity for these young soccer players.

MSU men's soccer team holds soccer clinic
The MSU men's soccer team held a soccer clinic after the Mason high school boys match against Northwest on Sept 28. About 30 kids stuck around for the clinic and everyone had a good time. The Mason Soccer Club would think to say thank you to MSU coaches and players for coming out and spending sometime with some of the up and coming soccer players in the Mason community.

Mason High School Youth Appreciation Night
The fall Mason Youth Soccer Appreciation Night at Mason High School will be held Wednesday Sept 28, 2011 between the JV and Varsity game Northwest. We really want to have all of the East Side and Mason CASL teams present – if you have practice that night have your kids come here instead and think about having them sit as a group for the first 15-20 minutes and tell you what they are seeing.
For all CASL teams- have them wear their colored jersey (red or blue) - they don’t need to wear the rest of the uniform if they don’t want. Bring a copy of your roster and give it to Mike Hamm or any MSC board member with a check mark by the kids present so their names get read off. Timing- they need to be there ready at 5:30. Don’t know exactly what time they will walk on but it will be very soon after the JV game ends.
